Senior Project Manager Data & Analytics - initially limited until 12.2027 (m/f/d)

As Senior Project Manager (m/w/d), you are responsible for strategically important projects in our Data & Analytics Unit. You control complex projects around data platforms, data modeling, BI and analytics - from conception to implementation to productive transfer. You work closely with platform, data engineering, BI and department teams, bringing structure into technically demanding projects and being the central player for progress, risks and decisions at all levels.

End-to-end control of strategically relevant projects in the Data-&-Analytics environment - including planning, prioritization, tracking and handover into operation Responsibility for roadmap, budget, resources and delivery dates in the projects assigned to you Structure of complex initiatives in controllable work packages, definition of milestones and clear acceptance criteria Stakeholder management at specialist, IT and management level; Processing of status, risks and decision-making templates for steering circuits Control of internal teams and external service providers and partners Ensuring quality and professional consistency of results in close coordination with the departments Risk, dependency and change management along the course of the project, including escalations Close cooperation with BI, data engineering and platform teams to provide data products and analytics solutions smoothly

Projektmanager (m/w/d) or Program Manager in Data, BI or Platform Detectable successes in managing complex, technically demanding projects with multiple workstreams, many stakeholders and clear delivery dates Funded understanding of modern data architectures (Data Warehouse, Lakehouse, Semantic Layer, Data Products) and typical projects in this environment (e.g. platform modernization, migration, building new analytics capabilities) Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g. Azure Databricks) and/or classic DWH environments of advantage; ideally touch points with BI tools such as MicroStrategy, Power BI or Databricks BI Very good method toolkit: classic and agile project management, risk and dependency management, cutover and handover planning Outstanding stakeholder competence and communication strength up to management level High self-responsibility, structured working and enforcement in an environment with competing priorities Very good knowledge of German and good English in word and writing Completed studies in an STEM subject, business informatics or a comparable qualification
