IT Engineer/-in BPM (m/w/d) We are looking for the Office for Digitization, Organization and IT (DO.IT.) of the Landeshauptstadt Stuttgart. The place shall be occupied without delay. The body is located in the field of software engineering and technical application platforms with the focus on process automation. By providing appropriate support, software engineering is to be able to meet the needs more efficiently. We actively contribute to supporting digitalization in the state capital of Stuttgart through specific individual developments.

As an IT engineer/in BPM it is up to you to adapt and expand the software solutions underlying the business process automation platform You ensure that digital workflows are implemented and reliably adjusted for changes Your tasks include planning release changes and performing regular maintenance You are responsible for the technical design, design and system administration You actively contribute to the professional implementation of requirement management, 3rd level support and localisation as well as troubleshooting sources The monitoring and administration of the business process automation platform, city-wide voting and continuous risk management are among your regular challenges A change or addition of the task area is reserved.

A completed study (Bachelor) in the field of computer science or in a comparable area As an alternative, a completed technical vocational training (e.g. professional informatics) with at least three years of relevant professional experience and thus equivalent skills and experience to carry out these activities Knowledge of process automation technologies and a good understanding of complex, networked systems Experience in agile project management (Scrum, Kanban and Lean methods) German language skills in word and writing (mind. B2-level) Ideal knowledge of Camunda BPMS, BPMN 2.0, process automation with GitLab Runners, RPA, VS Code, Postman Experience with Java, JavaScript, HTML/CSS and YAML/JSON, SQL and with complex municipal structures are beneficial
