Get to know the legal bases: As part of your internship, you acquire basic knowledge of the employment and tax law of occupational pensions and understand why these are so important for insurance-mathematic evaluations. Discover the population model: You will get to know the basics of the bAV population model and see how evaluations for supply commitments are derived from it. Creating an actuarial opinion: independently prepare first actuarial calculations, support expert opinions and gain a practical insight into the work of actuarial experts.

Bring a mathematical base: A study of mathematics or a comparable degree course forms the basis for your entry. Use Office tools securely: Ideally, you bring basic knowledge in Excel, Word or Access and safely apply them. Key principles: First knowledge of life- or pension-insurance mathematics is of advantage and facilitates entry into practical work. Immatrikulation given: You are registered at a university throughout the internship period.
