The nursing area I, Plastic / Accident Surgery / Orthopaedics – Station C.516, is one of two specialized stations for plastic, accident-surgical and orthopedic care at the University Hospital Schleswig-Holstein (UKSH). Our focus is on the comprehensive treatment of patients with bone injuries, accident injuries and pre- and post-operative care after accident-surgical and selective orthopaedic interventions. Appropriate implementation of basic and treatment care for patients with accident surgery, including therapeutic and diagnostic measures Implementation, documentation and evaluation of general and specialized care as part of a structured care process Pre- and postoperative care according to the latest scientific findings and current guidelines of accident surgery Instruction and introduction of new colleagues and support for assistance and assistance staff and support for learners Active co-design and optimization of nursing and organizational processes to increase the quality of supply and efficiency at the station

A completed training as a nurse / nurse, health care and nursing / health care / GKP or Nurse / Nurse or equivalent training Practical experiences in the field of accident surgery and orthopedics are desirable Funded, up-to-date nursing expertise and a strong willingness to continue training Competence for the implementation of patient-oriented, needs-oriented care in the three-layer system Empathic and respectful handling of patients, relatives and colleagues
