Development of intervention: You lead the concept of an innovative, group-based intervention for dealing with stigma and disclosure for suicide survivors (building on https://iwprogramm.org/). Research & Evaluation: You plan and answer a pilot study to evaluate the effectiveness of this intervention from the first data collection to the publication. Profile formation: You acquire third-party funds for their own research ideas in the field of suicide prevention/postvention and implement them independently. Academic Teaching & Mentoring: You support dedicated doctoral students and master students and support the teaching activities of the working group (currently 2 SWS).
Scientific excellence: A doctorate in the field of medicine, health sciences, psychology, sociology or related subjects that is very well completed (or shortly before completion). Enthusiasm for the topic: A strong interest in stigma research and/or suicide prevention, as well as the willingness to deal deeply and empathically with the life of survivors. Methodological strength: knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods and safety in the application of statistics software. Publication strength: Existing publications in international peer review journals and pleasure in scientific writing. Language competency: German and English in word and writing (essential for the implementation of intervention and international cooperation).
