System Administrator (m/f/d)

You are responsible for the continuous development of our IT infrastructure and actively contributes your expertise in virtualization, container technologies and automation. You take responsibility for our virtualized environments (e.g. VMware, KVM), optimise existing architectures and meet technological decisions. You are driving forward the introduction and expansion of Docker containers as well as orchestration solutions such as Kubernetes and defining the corresponding standards. With Terraform and other automation tools, you create a modern, flexible and scalable system landscape and establish best practices in the team. You are responsible for the configuration and continuous development of our firewall infrastructure and network security monitoring. You manage and optimize our Linux servers at a high level and pass on your knowledge to the team. You are responsible for the maintenance and further development of our CI/CD pipelines in GitLab and take over your own strategic projects. You work closely with our developers, promote the professional exchange in the team and are available as a contact person:for complex technical questions.

You have a completed training in the IT sector (e.g. specialist informatics) or you have a similar qualification You have deep knowledge of Linux, virtualization and containers (e.g. Docker) You want to deal with technologies such as Terraform or Kubernetes and bring a great readiness to learn. You like to work in the team and are communicative, open to new tasks and want to work together with us on exciting projects. You bring knowledge of German and English with you.
