Trainee dental technician (m/f/d)

Dental technicians produce dental prostheses, such as dental crowns and bridges or removable dental prosthesis (partial and full prostheses). For a bridge, for example, You produce a model of gypsum based on impressions. This then serves to model the bridge in order to produce a bridge structure, for example, in the casting process. You then process, for example, prosthesis plastics or hide parts of the dental prosthesis with tooth-colored masses for the dental prosthesis. You also use metals such as steel and fine gold. In addition, You create orthodontic devices for tooth regulation (spinning) and clean or repair dental prosthesis as well as tooth and jaw-regulating devices.

Skill: You have distinctive craftsmanship, a quiet hand and a lot of patience for detailed work. Performance: A good feeling of form and colour as well as spatial imagination characterize you. Motivation & team spirit: You are reliable, have a high level of readiness and like to work in a collegial team.

During your 3.5-year training (maybe shortenable to 3 years) you will immerse yourself in the fascinating world of dental technology and step by step become an expert: Precise craft: You will learn how to manufacture, repair and clean fixed and removable dentures (e.g. crowns, bridges, inlays and prostheses). Digital dental technology: You work with state-of-the-art CAD/CAM technology and design dentures on your computer. Variety of materials: You learn how to create special models of plaster and perfectly process materials such as ceramics, plastics and precious metals. Individual aesthetics: You reconstruct teeth so that You fit perfectly into the teeth of patients in shape and colour. .
