About the work area The Tübingen University Hospital (tba) has an experienced team of more than 170 specialists in technical support and plant management for both the University Hospital and the University of Tübingen. The ICT department supports the highly complex telecommunications system (hybrid system) of the University and the Tübingen University Hospital. These include traditional telephony (analogous and digital), VoIP telephony (fixed and WLAN), highly efficient communication platforms for UCC solutions, call centers and alarm solutions for critical areas. The department is responsible for the smooth, reliable and secure operation of all the systems (hardware and software) used for this, including networks required for this. It also supervises the technical networks used as a transport medium for the control and monitoring of technical applications and building equipment. An important task of the department is also to implement the BSI security requirements under the KRITIS Regulation. The task area at the Contact Center is from the placement to the appropriate contact person of the more than 20,000 connections to the individual reception in selected clinic areas. Discipline and professional leadership of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) department including promotion and further development of the personal and technical competence of employees Responsibility for ensuring cost-effectiveness, technical quality and efficiency in compliance with the set objectives Ensuring trouble-free and secure operation of telecommunications systems as well as active design and continuous improvement of telephony and unified communications environment Representation of the ICT organization at audits (internal, external) and certifications including BSI, ISO 27001 Conception, initiation and possibly management of ICT projects Close cooperation with other business areas and IT security

Successfully completed studies (Diplom, Bachelor / Master) with technical focus in engineering and reference to information, communication or communication technology Multiannual, well-founded experience in the area of critical infrastructure and telecommunications technology, traditional telephony, VoIP, WLAN, UCC, mobile phone, call center, alarm, network etc. Embossed communication skills and business sense to convey complex facts and options of action at all levels of the company Structured, analytical and conceptual work High customer and service orientation as well as reliability, self-responsibility and organizational talent – even in time-critical situations
