Claim Manager / Addendum Manager for Construction and Technical Projects (f-m-d)

Examination of supplements in construction and engineering projects - commercial, contractual and, depending on the subject, also technical (evaluation of basis of claim, quantities, prices, causes and effects)

Analysis of schedules and critical path, identification of delay causes and derivation of economic consequences for costs and dates

Close cooperation with project management, project controlling, technology and external claim managers to develop a uniform, strong project position vis-à-vis contractors

Development of sustainable negotiation strategies together with purchasing and project management and participation in challenging, partly strategic negotiations

Own conduct of follow-up negotiations

Building high transparency over the postage volume, structured documentation of all processes and creating a meaningful reporting for project and purchasing management

Function as an estimated respondent and Sparring Partner: Coaching of project leaders and buyers, further development of standards, templates and guidelines as well as introduction of Lessons Learned from major projects

Complete studies in civil engineering or industrial engineering, in a technical field (e.g. mechanical engineering), in business or comparable qualification

Multiannual, practical experience in post-request, claim or change management in construction or technical projects

Safe handling of project and construction contracts (e.g. SektVO, VOB/B, BGB) and pleasure in the professional evaluation of contractual margins and risks

Experience gained in the assessment of time and time sequences and their economic impact on project costs and dates

Convincing, negotiateable communication at eye level – both with contractors and internal stakeholders from project, technology and purchasing

Embossed structured and analytical methods, stability, solution orientation and the claim to prepare decisions clearly and comprehensiblely
