We are looking for an engineer (m/w/d) network technology in the field of energy technology at the Forchheim site as soon as possible. The position must be occupied within a 40-hour week.

The following challenges await you as an in-service engineer (m/w/d) network technology:

• Responsibility for the technically correct, timely and economic execution of the installation of HGÜ plants, in particular in the field of data networks and network communication components

• Responsibility for time synchronization as well as for local and remote signal converters as an interface to all signal suppliers involved
• Support in the failure and testing of communication interfaces for internal commissioning teams, customers and external partners
• Participation in quality, risk and claim management in cooperation with the IBS leadership
• Participation in improvement programmes

Your profile:

• You have a successfully completed training or studies in electrical or information technology or a comparable qualification
• You have good knowledge of network administration, especially in the handling of switches and routers, as well as in the basics of HMI systems and PC administration including hardware and virtualization
• Ideally, you already have basic knowledge of network security and network monitoring
• You are familiar with the basic network protocols
• A quality-oriented operation and structured documentation of technical results are familiar to you
• You have basic knowledge in the reading and understanding of schematics as well as in the handling of electrical systems
• They show willingness to travel and are flexible for use on different construction sites
• Your profile is rounded off by knowledge of German and English in word and writing
