Digitalization Engineer (m/f/d)

With deep IT expertise and strong consulting expertise, the specialist departments support you in optimally shaping business processes through digital solutions. Existing business processes and applications analyze and optimize continuously together with the specialist departments, derive technical requirements and create the related technical documentation – as well as accompany updates and rollouts. When introducing, configuring and developing digital applications – such as MES, Q tools, logistics/TMS systems, digital checklists, workflow tools or dashboards – you work closely with the respective specialist departments. You are responsible for the development and implementation of user training and provide competent technical support when problems arise. You design and implement interfaces between complex software/technology such as production systems, machines as well as MES and ERP solutions and thus ensure a smooth flow of data and information for operational operation.

You have completed their studies or comparable training in the field of economic informatics, computer science or a related field. Ideally, you already bring first professional experiences. You have knowledge of software development with modern development environments and current programming languages such as Python, .NET or JavaScript as well as the handling of script languages. Experiences in system integration, such as APIs, databases and interfaces, are advantageous. In addition, you have experience in project management. In addition to high IT affinity, you have good analytical skills and work structured, independent and solution-oriented. You think networked, quickly identify complex relationships and transform challenges into practical solutions. In addition, you can convince with your team skills, flexibility, independence and commitment. You bring interest in future technologies such as AI and robotics, and pursue their application in operating and production processes. Very good knowledge of the German language and good knowledge of the English language complete your profile.
