PEPP-Manager (m/f/d)

Responsibility for the correct and timely encoding according to the PEPP system (Psychiatrie personalised pay system) taking into account current legal requirements and changes. Ensuring complete and proper documentation of all relevant data. Monitoring and control of the test processes by cost carriers (KT) and the medical service (MD) with regard to the quality and accuracy of the accounting documents. Analysis and response of enquiries and examinations of cost carriers and medical services, in particular by creating and sending patient documents. Identification and implementation of process optimizations within PEPP coding and MD/KT management to increase efficiency and ensure compliance with all relevant deadlines. Close cooperation with the specialist departments to ensure smooth and correct coding and correct processing of test procedures. Training and consulting of medical and administrative staff in relation to the correct PEPP coding as well as the handling of test procedures of the cost carriers and the MD. Compilation of regular reports and evaluations on the PEPP encodings as well as the results of MD and KT tests. Maintenance and management of relevant databases and files related to PEPP coding and MD/KT checks.

(m/w/d), Kaufmann (m/w/d) in the healthcare sector or comparable qualification. Funded knowledge in the field of PEPP coding as well as the processes of MD/KT management, in particular in psychiatry and psychosomatics. Extensive experience with billing processes and the creation of documents for cost carriers and the medical service. Good knowledge of relevant legal requirements and coding guidelines (e.g. SGB V, PEPP system) High analytical skills and precise working. Team capability and communication strength to work effectively with various departments. Loadability and flexibility in a dynamic working environment. Very good knowledge in dealing with common practice management systems and accounting software. Safe handling of MS Office, especially Excel, as well as knowledge in data analysis and processing. Experience in the application of specialized software solutions in the field of PEPP and MD/KT management (e.g. PEPP documentation systems, accounting software). Additional certificates in the area of settlement/Medical coding are advantageous. Continuing training in quality management or process optimization is desirable.
