Controller (m/f/d)

In this role you support our Thorlabs Accounting Team to make financial relationships transparent and controllable. With sound analyses, clear reporting and close cooperation with the departments, you create the basis for good decisions in an international technology environment. Ensuring a timely monthly closing and coordination of all relevant final processes Creation of monthly financial and management reports including meaningful deviation analyses Implementation of sound financial and reporting analyses to support operational business and improve financial transparency Close cooperation with internal business partners as a financial contact person to optimise business results Implementation of key voting, in particular on the inventory control of the European warehouse Participation in financial statements according to HGB and IFRS as well as in budget and forecast processes Support for audits, process improvement projects, accounting manager and local financial management

Complete study of economics or business management with a focus on controlling, finance or a comparable qualification Multiannual practical experience (2–4 years) in controlling, ideally in an internationally established company Secure handling of MS Office, especially Excel; Experience with Power BI and Power Automat and first knowledge in MS Dynamics 365 Embossed Analytical Thinking Power, Fast Conception and a Structured and Solution-Oriented Work High commitment, clear communication and strong team skills Very good German knowledge (C1) as well as good English knowledge (B2) in word and writing
