Number: MER0003YE4 As a team of digitalization logistics engineering and project management, we are directly at the source of decisions. We ensure the leadership of our management, control vehicle projects and planning teams, develop the digital future of the area and consolidate key KPIs of the supply chain organization as a central function. We are the voice of logistics in the early stages of the production process and ensure that all new vehicles are integrated into the existing supply chains of the production plants. The site is located in the Mercedes-Benz plant Sindelfingen. We are looking for tasks to coordinate and manage the new logistics project Large Cars in Tuscaloosa. The Mercedes-Benz plant Tuscaloosa produces the latest generation of Mercedes-Benz SUVs and electric vehicles from 2029. These challenges include: You support the logistics project management in the international project team until the start of the vehicle

You take activities as part of the timing of our 14 logistics work packages as well as the coordination with our interface partners

You prepare multi-disciplinary planning workshops with a variety of participants and support in the implementation and refurbishment

You are responsible for maintaining the common set of logistics planning in the global production network Large Cars

You're the first to make proposals for middle and top management

You have a hand for data management and integration, for example, you can extract important information from large datasets using MS Excel Pivot tables and MS Power BI

The activity can begin from March 2026.

Course in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a comparable course

Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing

Safe handling of MS Office

Good to very good academic achievements, extra-university commitment desirable

Teamability, communication and conflictability

Safe appearance to management level, internal and external project partners

High level of autonomy and self-initiative

Practical knowledge of automotive and subcontracting projects is desirable

Experience in the field of AI applications desirable

Open mindset and honest interest in the opinion and experience of process partners

Experimental joy in designing technical solutions and social processes
