That makes this job interesting for me: Against the background of the Europe-wide energy transition, analyses and evaluations of the security of supply of the European energy system and the electricity markets are becoming increasingly important for my work. I am part of 50Hertz, one of the four transmission system operators in Germany, and contribute to transporting electricity at the highest voltage level, thereby advancing the energy transition at high speed and high supply security. Together with Belgian transmission system operator Elia, based in Brussels, I work in the internationally active Elia Group. My tasks: designing security of supply for Germany and Europe, actively participate in analysing and compressing the European energy transition, work together in strong European teams across TSOs, develop innovative methods for evaluating security of supply; use data, models and IT to make complex energy systems understandable, create the foundations for energy policy decisions, support capacity market in Germany analytically, effective internal and external communication, Working internationally – in German and English.
