As part of the Joint Lab with the Leibniz Institute IHP, you develop quantum-optical circuits and photonic components for novel integrated quantum systems. Your field of activity includes:
quantenoptical sensor system: Development of the theoretical foundations and understanding of methods Design of quantum-optical circuits and creation of chip layouts for silicon-based platforms Simulation of photonic components (shaft conductors, beam splitters, modulators) for optimizing component performance Implementation and supervision of laboratory experiments, in particular characterization and measurements of integrated quantum optics components Accompanying process development in cooperation with the Leibniz Institute IHP Scientific publications and presentations at conferences Possibility of doctoral studies in cooperation with a university
