As a WIG welder in Friedrichshafen, you take precise welding work on aluminium assemblies and ensure that each component is cleanly prepared, securely connected and tested. The place fits you when you bring craftsmanship, technical understanding and a good eye for quality.

• Self-adjustment, straightening, stapling and welding of aluminium assemblies by drawing and welding instruction
• Execution of WIG welding work on aviation and industrial components with clean weld preparation
• Preparing components and assemblies for the welding process, including seam preparation and precise alignment
• Testing of welds by visual inspection and careful rework as required
• Participation in compliance with WPS, WPQR and other requirements for welding process qualification
• Close coordination with manufacturing, work preparation and quality assurance, so that processes run smoothly
• Edit sensitive components with high care and responsibility
• Support in the small team if a high work volume needs to be handled reliably and on time

We are looking for

A technology-affinated welder with safe handling in the metal sector, which delivers clean results and keeps an overview even with precise tasks. For the position as a WIG welder in Friedrichshafen, you fit especially well when you bring experience in aluminum welding and reliably implement drawings.

• Complete training in the metalworking area, for example as a construction mechanic, metal builder, locksmith or industrial mechanic
• Welding technology training in the WIG process, ideally with focus on aluminum
• Practical experience in WIG welding of aluminium components as well as safe handling of weld preparation and seam preparation
• Good knowledge of reading and implementing technical drawings and welding instructions
• Experience with welding seam testing and inspection to assess quality directly on the component
• Required are valid welder tests according to aviation standard DIN ISO 24394 or qualifications according to DIN EN ISO 9606
• Willingness to work in airborne requirements, WPS and WPQR or to further qualify internally
• Self-employed, reliable and quality-conscious working with a strong technical understanding
• Craft skills, team skills and careful handling of sensitive components
