Consultant for customs and foreign trade law (m/f/d)

You are responsible for the issue of certificates of origin and other external economic documents. This also includes the further development of the service with regard to digitalization. In the implementation of the certification practice, you will guide a team of currently four employees and ensure the professional and personal development. You advise companies on issues of customs and foreign trade law (export, including export control, import) and foreign trade documents. You are the contact person for companies to determine the preferential and non-preferential rights of origin. You conceptualize and organize special events (e.g. IHK-Forum Zoll, Presence Events, Webinare). You are engaged in IHK working groups at national and federal level. You run and organize the IHK network of foreign trade practice in coordination with the network spokesperson. You write opinions on current legislative proposals. You provide specialist information for member companies as well as for print and online media.

completed (specialised)higher education in the field of law or business, or a successfully completed vocational training with completed advancement (specialist/in, farmer/in in the field of law/economy). comprehensive, at least five years of professional experience in customs and foreign trade law, ideally in an internationally active company or in an IHK or in an economic association. good presentation and moderation skills and experience in project and event management. Ability to structure work independently and to work conceptually and solution-oriented. Pleasure to decide and enjoy consulting and project activities. pronounced communicative properties, very good English skills, further language skills of advantage. Team skills. Leadership experience desirable. Driving licence and car required.
