Senior Consultant (d/w/m) Area Neuropathology Reference number: 6576 | Working time: Full time | Date of entry: at the next possible time | Duration of employment: Unlimited period of application: 02.03.2026 | Work at Charité The Institute of Neuropathology is the only neuropathological university institution in Berlin and Brandenburg to provide service providers for numerous clinical facilities within and outside the Charité, which is why case management plays a central role in daily work. In addition, the institute is active in neuroscientific research, where basic research is associated with clinical research, in order to better understand neurological diseases, with the aim of further developing neuropathological diagnostics and to find approaches for future targeted therapies of neurological diseases. The three-member institute office, for which we are looking for a reinforcement at this point, acts as a central interface between the various areas and the various actors and professional groups within the institute and the Charité, but also externally. Case and findings management, including: Case detection (patient and sender data) as well as recording services for billing Support for medical staff in case of information and requests Reading, archiving and sending of findings and opinions Shipment of tissue material in the context of studies, opinions, consils etc. incl. associated documentation Compilation of cost proposals in German and English as well as support in accounting, including expert opinions, material shipments Office management, including: Various correspondence, administrative and organisational activities in all areas of the Institute (e.g. in English) Structured document storage (both paper-based and digital) Support in human resources, including application management, applications Organization of dates and events Material management and orders General support of the Institute Management

You have A completed three-year commercial training, ideally in health care or in office and administration management Multiannual professional experience in a comparable function (e.g. secretariat, clinic or institute administration, office management), ideally in the medical or academic environment Very safe application knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Word, Excel and Outlook), experience in handling SAP desirable Very good German knowledge of word and writing as well as good English knowledge Knowledge of GOÄ and medical terminology of advantage Flexibility within the framework of regulated working hours (8 to 5 p.m. in the rotation principle) Structured, independent and foreseeable operation with pronounced organizational and time management High service and communication skills as well as a friendly, binding occurrence
