DevOps Engineer (m/f/d)

You work on developing innovative data-based applications and support us in all agile transformations. Their field of activity includes the implementation, automation and optimization of processes around development, testing, build and deployment (including administration) in the cloud environment (Azure). You take responsibility for technical and technical configurations and support us in the selection and control of external service providers. In the further development of internal and external applications, you take on an interface function, work closely with IT, editorial staff and publishers and coordinate with various project and development teams. With your competence, you contribute to the quality assurance and optimization of the F.A.Z. products to be archived and contribute to the best possible provision for internal and external customers.

You have a completed university degree, preferably a master's degree. You are thrilled with the software development cycle and have a good overview of DevOps as well as tools and concepts related to automation, AI integration / Continuous Delivery / Continuous Deployment in the Java and Cloud environment. You are able to support our application development with your Java / HTML and Python skills (FastAPI). Ideally, you have knowledge in the field of system administration and integration in the cloud environment (Azure) and first experiences with search engines as well as with conventional and vector databases (MongoDB and Qdrant). In addition to knowledge in agile project management, you have a good general education and will always find practical solutions in dialogue with other teams and projects. Your knowledge of German is at least on Level C1 and your passion for innovative approaches/processes as well as your courage to change are yours.
