As head of the Credit Risk Controlling and Validation department, you are responsible for the conceptual and personal leadership of two teams with currently 17 colleagues. Your tasks – we will inspire you You run the division consisting of two teams:

Team ''Kreditriscontrolling'' (you run the team management): Monitoring, analysis and communication of credit, equity and sustainability risk including the further development of the underlying control approaches, procedures and models Creation of decision-relevant risk analyses, estimation of the parameters used and reporting to the Management Boards Compliance with the tasks of the CRCU (Credit Risk Control Unit) in the IRB approach, including the responsibility for the procedures, models and their professional development Team ''Validation'' (Workers are in your direct leadership): Validation of all models in the ''Kredit Risk Controlling'' team with regard to their performance (e.g. model design, data quality or stability) Performance of the IVU (Independent Validation Unit) tasks in the IRB approach Creation of extensive validation documentation and reporting to the Management Boards

You are responsible for the development, updating and control of credit risk controlling and validation - including under the upcoming ECB supervision - and you are able to develop sustainable solutions together. You bring together the various interests and views of the stakeholders in your role and thus prepare directional decisions, in which you always keep in mind the concerns of the Sparkasse KölnBonn. You represent the Sparkasse KölnBonn in discussions with associations, pool service providers and other savings banks with regard to the topics you are responsible for within the S financial group. As a guided person, you understand yourself as a coach of your team members and develop the skills of your employees along the requirements of the Sparkasse KölnBonn.

Your profile – this is how you inspire us You have a successfully completed study with a quantitative focus. You bring multi-year experience in credit risk controlling a credit institution and know the relevant strategic trends and regulatory issues – ideally from the perspective of a credit institution within the S financial group under the direct supervision of the ECB. You have well-founded expertise in the relevant topics. Convinced by your strong leadership experience, you can convince with the ability to integrate people, paired with your decision-making pleasure and your very good conceptual and analytical skills. You have already gained experience with the application of pool models and the associated committee work within the relevant service providers. With your safe appearance and your pronounced communicative skills, you will delight your stakeholders, as well as you will have the ability to work quickly on quantitative/qualitative topics.
