As a Risk & Business Controller (m/w/d), you play a central role in the strategic and operational management of our Group. In your role, you not only analyze numbers – you recognize opportunities, minimise risks and actively contribute to the sustainability of our organization.

You analyse contracts, business relationships, trades and processes for potential risks and develop suitable solutions You identify, evaluate and monitor key market, credit and operational risks of the VSE Group and work closely with our specialist areas on appropriate countermeasures You support mid-term planning, billing and prepare decision-relevant documents You are working on M&A projects and on cost-effectiveness analyses of investments, as well as on process optimization You support the creation of regular reports for the management and accompany the preparation of internal and external quarterly and plan discussions You actively contribute to Group-Internal Projects and represent VSE AG in Group Working Groups You continuously develop our controlling IT systems and drive efficiency and digitization

A completed economic studies or a comparable qualification Professional experience in controlling – ideally in the company or risk controlling of the energy industry or in the risk-relevant environment (banks / insurance) Funded know-how in methods and procedures of market, credit and operational risk controlling Experiences in value-oriented management and financial modelling (in particular corporate assessment) High IT affinity and experience with controlling IT systems and their further development Knowledge of contract and company law are a plus A high self-motivation, the view for the essentials and the ability to ensure high quality even in demanding situations You recognize the perspective and needs of our internal and external addressees You question the status quo, introduce new working techniques and enjoy sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues You think holistic, work analytically and have a critical basic attitude towards facts Good, practical knowledge of English
