Gr. A 15 BBesO, E15 TV EntgO-DRV Activity The DRV-IT rvSystem principle and cross-section is responsible for the development of the IT core application system of the German Pension Insurance (DRV). Here you will find management, development and cross-sectional teams for the existing core system including online services for our insurers as well as project management and teams for our ongoing agile large project to modernise our applications. The “Reha-Services” area is responsible for the technical and technological development of digital end-to-end processes in rehabilitation and specialist applications for, for example, transition money, social security contributions and social medical services as part of our core system. The team consists of product managers, product owners, specialist experts and software developers.

You are responsible for the disciplinary leadership, strategic orientation and the efficient, high-quality and legally compliant software development of the Reha Services: Professional, disciplinary and organizational leadership of the area with about 45 employees Developing the rehabilitation strategy for core system development in close coordination with product management, software architects and stakeholders in compliance with legal changes in social legislation Planning, controlling and monitoring of the area and further developing the development process and increasing productivity by establishing and applying suitable key figures, processes and methods Planning, managing and implementing IT projects and working groups Design and support the further development of the methodological, process and technical software development competencies of employees and compliance with standards and quality Promoting the motivation, personal development and commitment of employees as well as active participation in further recruiting staff Represent the area and the Reha product strategy in the overarching IT organisation of the DRV, internal and external bodies, as well as national institutions and authorities

You are a strategically thoughtful and conscientious leader who combines professional know-how in rehabilitation processes with management experience in software development. Graduated academic studies (Master or Diploma (University)) preferred administrative, economic, computer science, mathematics, natural, or engineering Multiannual, current task-relevant leadership, and management experience Experience in management or product management of agile or classic software development projects Extensive expertise in software development (for example software architecture, Java, Cobol, DevOps) Ideally multiannual experience in rehabilitation procedures knowledge of social security and administrative law, ideally in rehabilitation law, as well as in data protection and IT security Agiles Mindset, Structured Operation, High Design Will and Engagement High readiness for change and innovation Excellent address-oriented communication skills paired with pronounced customer orientation
