Bridges and engineering are the backbone of our transport network. In the Infrastructure Management Unit, you work together with a dedicated, interdisciplinary team on the sustainability of these buildings, in particular the existing bridges. Our goal is a secure, available and sustainable infrastructure. For this purpose, we ensure the quality of building data, develop digital testing methods and tools for the availability of bridges and optimised life cycle management, and advance control work. You are responsible for research projects on availability, substance retention, impacts on bridges and work at ZTV‐ING. You will continue to develop the themes ‘availability’ and ‘subsistence’ and load models. In addition, you evaluate and validate new and proven procedures with regard to the requirements of our users – from the Federal Ministry of Transport to the Federal Highway GmbH to Road Construction Administrations. You should bring this with you: Completed scientific higher education as a civil engineer (constructive engineering) or equivalent skills and experience This distinguishes you: Knowledge and experience on the availability and maintenance of engineering structures, in particular bridges Knowledge and experience in the development and application of load models Basic knowledge of cooperation in a business unit Quality and usability of work results Display capacity Planning and organizational capacity Ability to work together Communication and information skills Very good German language skills, comparable language level C1 to GER Flexibility
