Number: MER00044YZ The requirements for transparent personnel requirements, capacity and achievement planning have steadily increased in recent years. With the help of clear, stringent processes and the targeted use of digitalization and AI, employees and managers in the production areas can be optimally digitally supported and the efficiency in planning and control can be increased. For this purpose, we bundle the necessary process, digitization and automation competence within Mercedes-Benz Cars Operations in our Center for Technology & System Engineering. During your internship, you as Product Owner support the development and introduction of an internal RTD planning app. The application is currently in prototyping and starts in August 2026. The app is to replace an existing Excel process. In your role, you are the central interface between executives, assistants, departments and development team and take responsibility for the organization, coordination and implementation of the product. These tasks come to you, among others: Recording and structuring requirements from the fields

Care and Priority of Product Backlogs

Creation of user stories and acceptance criteria

Coordination with development team, department and management as well as participation in regular voting and regulation dates

Support for testing, problem clarification and quality assurance of the application

Creation of decision templates and presentations

Support for rollout and change management initiatives

Documentation of processes, standards and best practice approaches

Start of activity as of August 2026 desired, duration of 8 months (required).

Course in Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, BWL or a comparable degree programme Secure handling of MS Office, especially Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel; first experiences with AI applications such as Claude Code Secure knowledge of German in word and writing; English knowledge desirable Structured and independent working with a high degree of sense of responsibility Communication strength as well as joy in communicating between specialist, management and development team Experience in project management desirable Interest in digitization projects, process optimization and product-obvner tasks desirable Additional information: We are looking forward to your online application with CV, lettering, certificates, current enrollment certificate with a specification of the semester, if necessary.
