Mechanical assembly of UHV systems, vacuum chambers and assemblies according to technical drawings and parts lists Precise adjustment and alignment of components (e.g. system chambers, excitation sources, flanges, manipulators, pump necks, etc.) Conducting tightness tests (Helium leak search) on UHV modules Installation of pipelines, vacuum connections and UHV-compatible connections Integration of electrical and control interfaces in cooperation with electronics commissioning support of complete UHV systems at the location or at the customer documentation of the assembly steps, if necessary Support for CE and RBU documentation Cooperation with design, manufacturing and quality assurance

Complete vocational training in the field of industrial mechanics, precision mechanics, mechatronics or comparable Multiannual experience in special machine or plant construction, ideally in the vacuum or UHV range Very good technical understanding and safe handling of technical drawings (2D/3D) Experience with UHV-relevant materials and assembly practices (e.g. metal sealing flanges, clean screwing, handling of stainless steel components) Knowledge of vacuum technology, leak testing (Helium leak detection technology) of advantage Teamability, Structured Operation, High Care and Quality Consciousness readiness for occasional travel (e.g. system operating at the customer) Good knowledge of German in word and writing, English knowledge desirable
