Career changer for retraining as a train traffic controller

As a train taxer, you work in the Stellwerk. From there, you can navigate the train traffic and thus ensure a safe, punctual and smooth train operation. At 01.06.2026 we are looking for you as a cross-release: for a retraining as a train tax (w/m/d) at the south-eastern Bavarian Railway (DB RegioNetz Infrastruktur) at the Eggenfelden site, parish churches, Trostberg, Hörpolding and/or Töging This is what you expect during your retraining: The training takes approx. 5 months and the cost of the Southeast Bavarian Railway Retraining takes place in full-time (39 hours/week) and consists of theoretical and practical classes

After your retraining, you take the following activities: On small, medium or large actuators you control the train traffic via levers, push buttons and rotary switches You set roads (travel, switches, signals) for trains and ensure a safe exit, e.g. from a train station The monitoring of the operation in stations is also in your hands Communication and coordination with colleagues in the Stellwerk, locomotive guides: within your working day

Your profile: You have at least one (qualified) primary school degree and a successfully completed vocational training, e.g. as a retail trader, restaurant specialist, bakery specialist seller:in or office businessman Even in challenging situations, you keep quiet and keep an overview You bring basic PC skills Team skills characterizes you and you like to take responsibility driving licence class B Vulnerability for business and exchange services (psychological suitability test is required) readiness for shiftwork (night, weekend, holiday work) and flexibility, but your own work-life balance does not come too short
