Technical responsibility for the operation and further development of the IT infrastructure (server, network, storage) Administration, optimization and further development of virtualization platforms (VMware / Hyper-V) Operation and development of complex Windows and Linux server environments Network Infrastructure Conception and Administration (Firewall, VPN, WAN, Switching) Responsibility for the reliable operation of backup and recovery systems Planning and implementation of updates, patch management, migrations and system optimizations Analysis and sustainable elimination of complex disturbances in 2nd-/3rd level support Technical design and implementation of infrastructure projects Definition and development of technical standards and participation in IT security measures

Completed IT training, commercial training, study or comparable qualifications Multiannual well-founded professional experience in system engineering and operation of complex IT infrastructures Very good knowledge in operation and further development of virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V) Comprehensive knowledge in Windows and Linux server environments Knowledge of network, firewall, VPN, WAN and switching technologies Very good knowledge in the administration of backup and recovery solutions as well as in restore procedures Experience in the planning and implementation of demanding infrastructure projects Experience with Microsoft Azure and hybrid IT infrastructures is beneficial High level of personal responsibility, quality awareness and service orientation
