The SOS-Kinderdorf e.V. is a renowned aid organisation and a free, non-profit institution of child and youth assistance with 38 facilities throughout the federal territory and around 5,200 employees.

The SOS village of Hohenroth in Gemünden am Main is a 'place to life' for currently 160 adult people with cognitive impairment. The facility offers housing in family-organised households and employment in 14 working areas. In our newly built 'centre', there are 24 places available for residents with increased help.

In the SOS village community of Hohenroth we are looking for a Senior Consultant (m/w/d) in permanent employment, part-time (min. 15 - max. 25 h/w)

Your tasks include: Design of the daily and weekly routine in the living group – oriented towards seasons, festivals, birthdays and individual occasions individual assistance in all areas of daily life – from meals to room design, laundry and shopping to leisure activities Support and support in medical matters, e.g. during doctor visits, monitoring of health processes or assistance in diabetes type 2 and drug delivery Assistance in basic care and – as required – independent implementation of simple nursing activities Promoting social contacts and support in building and maintaining relationships within and outside the institution Documentation and communication – conscientious guidance Resident documentation, handovers and all relevant records responsible implementation of the protection of property according to our quality standards

You have completed training as an educator or nurse or nurse*in You are characterized by a high level of expertise, empathy and joy in self-responsible work You have a fine feeling for the individual needs of our residents and can safely assess situations and react appropriately and in a spirit of solidarity You like to work in the team, introduce their own ideas and actively contribute to a positive, trusting atmosphere in the group of homes Your approach to proximity and distance is characterized by professionalism, mindfulness and appreciation
