Development Engineer - Fiber Optic / Data Centers (m/f/d)

You develop new products and production processes in the field of fiber optic cabling for Hyperscale data centers You support production in building and testing prototypes and create and maintain work instructions You introduce new products into series production, especially at the production site Mexico You continuously develop existing product designs and optimize production processes perform tests (mechanical, optical, thermal), evaluate them and document the results; coordinate as required You external test laboratories You are the technical contact (m/w/d) for the sales organization in the USA and take over Troubleshooting for the production location Mexico

You have a successfully completed technical study or a further education for the state-tested technician (m/w/d), for example in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, systems engineering or optoelectronics You have very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing You ideally have first knowledge in the field of fiber optic/fibre technology and experience in design and development You work structured, independent and independent You possess strong team skills and interdisciplinary thinking skills You are willing to work in a timely flexible framework in the international environment and show high readiness to national and international missions
