Senior Enterprise Architect (m/w/d)

As a strategic partner of the Bundeswehr, Customer Architecture & Portfolio Advisory (CAPA) assumes responsibility for the transparent and effective planning of the required IT services. We ensure a seamless connection of Bundeswehr and BWI planning and create the foundations for the performance adjustments of BWI to changing customer requirements (business IT alignment). We also support the Bundeswehr in the targeted further development of its IT systems.

We are looking for several experienced Senior IT Enterprise Architects (m/w/d) to design and further develop our company architecture. You advise the Bundeswehr on various and interesting IT architectural issues and have the opportunity to help shape the future of the German security situation.

Design and further development of the corporate architecture of the Bundeswehr: You support the analysis and further development of corporate architecture with your expertise and thus ensure sustainable business development. In doing so, you continuously derive further development potentials for Bw's corporate architecture and associated tool landscape and lead them to the necessary management decision as needed.

Creation and development of reference and project architectures: You initiate, create and optimize reference and project architectures in cooperation with the German Bundeswehr's IT and digitization projects. You have the opportunity to shape the IT landscape of tomorrow.

Creation and further development of target images: You support the creation and further development of target images in the area of responsibility, and you are significantly involved in the future orientation of the Bundeswehr.

Optimization of principles and requirements: Set clear standards through cooperation in creating and optimizing principles and requirements for corporate and reference architectures of the Bundeswehr.

Requirements and Management: You collect, manage and evaluate the needs and requirements of the Bundeswehr for the joint definition of necessary and innovative measures.

Target group-oriented presentation of complex facts: You create technical contributions and concepts of the corporate architecture of the Bundeswehr and develop them further. A target-group-oriented preparation of complex facts and relationships up to the middle management level is necessary.

Interdisciplinary and cross-thematic cooperation: You work in interdisciplinary and cross-thematic teams and perform professional teams as required in the context of IT and digitalization projects, which have the highest relevance for the Bundeswehr.

Completed IT-related study of computer science, business informatics or comparable MINT courses alternative an equivalent completed vocational training

Mind. 4-year relevant professional experience with tasks as IT Enterprise or Solution Architect or IT Service Portfolio Manager

Good knowledge of architectural management tools (e.g. ARIS, SPARX EA) and architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF or NAF) as well as metamodels (e.g. ADMBw, UAF DMM)

Experience in request collection and request management

Experiences in the customer environment of the Bundeswehr or authorities are desirable

Experience in communication and cooperation with management

Strategic thinking, communication strength, persuasiveness, team capacity, sense of responsibility, ability to easily represent complex facts

German language skills and good English skills in word and writing
