Get to know everyday life in the profession of the press spokesperson at Mercedes-Benz and use the opportunity to gain insights into the media work of an international company and to actively shape it.

The Innovation Communication team focuses on the communication of international, pioneering innovation topics of Mercedes-Benz research and development with locations around the globe. This includes the global network of Mercedes-Benz Innovation Centers and Open Innovation Platforms. The team’s theme ranges from “Future Materials” to “Future Technologies” and “Future Vehicles” (showcars and concept vehicles) to “Futurology” (future research). Examples are the communication around the impressive technology program Mercedes-Benz VISION EQXX, the “Mercedes-Benz Future Experience” where we give early insights into new groundbreaking research innovations or “Tomorrow XX”, our technology program for more sustainability.

Within the global communication of Mercedes-Benz Cars & Vans, the Technology Communications department is responsible for all strategic topics of electromobility and its ecosystem, autonomous driving and far-reaching security aspects, innovations & research, and the management communication of the Mercedes-Benz Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

These tasks come to you, among others: Participation in the preparation and implementation of media events Participation in the management and coordination of show cars and concept vehicles for various events and media appointments Create and edit articles and texts for different channels Participation in the design and implementation of TV and video productions Participation in the processing of press requests, creation of questions and response catalogs (Q&As), briefings, PowerPoint presentations etc. Monitoring and documentation of Mercedes-Benz reporting and competitors Research and preparation of figures, data and facts.

All tasks are carried out in close exchange of information with the international press and market colleagues. The activity can begin from June 2026.

Programme in the field of communication sciences, BWL/VWL, public relations, humanities or social sciences or a comparable degree programme Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing Safe handling of MS Office and social media Joy and experience in writing texts of advantage Commitment, team skills, strategic working, communication skills driving licence class B

Please note that your internship at this site must have a prescribed mandatory share. The place is limited to six months.
