Head of Finance (m/w/d) – Germany

Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you are responsible for the financial management and realignment of the German state company. In this key role, you play a key role in setting up the financial organisation in a sustainable manner by redesigning structures and processes and creating the basis for efficient operational management and sustainable growth. The main focus is restructuring, implementation of group-wide and local strategies and guidelines, as well as optimising the organisational requirements to ensure modern financial planning, analysis and reporting. You take responsibility for all financially relevant functions – from controlling, accounting and treasury to financial analysis, taxes, budgeting and auditing to accounting – and provide clear guidelines and standards for transparency and taxability. In addition to monitoring the operational processes, controlling cash flow and liquidity planning, and implementing efficient risk management, you will develop strategies for financial optimization and deliver the key figures and analyses to effectively align the corporate strategy as a business management partner. Furthermore, you ensure compliance with governance and compliance policies, represent the company to auditors and, through your expertise, contribute to strengthening the trust of external stakeholders. You will be supported by a qualified team.

With this responsible task, we address experienced managers who, after successfully completed economic, business or legal studies with a focus on finance, have a well-founded experience in a comparable position with internationally operating industrial companies. You bring well-founded knowledge in accounting, controlling, treasury and strategic financial planning, ideally have experience in the implementation of reorganizations and convince by a pronounced analytical and conceptual competence, combined with an entrepreneurial mindset. A hand-on mentality, pragmatic solution orientation as well as a sovereign handling of complex processes of change are just as well as international experience, intercultural understanding and knowledge of German and English.
