Incident & Process Manager in the area of IT situation monitoring and management (m/f/d)

Working at the National IT-Lage Centre for Situation Monitoring, Assessment and Processing of Incident Reports, in particular with regard to critical installations, also in the course of call readiness in the context of reporting. (e.g. situation reports) to inform and support the various target groups of the BSI. Development and evaluation of processes and procedures in relation to the reporting units of the department and the activities of the department in the National IT Information Centre. Definition of requirements for the further development of the IT systems used for the reporting points, in particular with regard to automation. Conception and implementation of knowledge management with regard to the exercise of the defined processes. Exercise an interface function to areas within the BSI. Planning and implementation of votes on reporting with the economy and other authorities.

A completed study (Bachelor/ FH Diploma) of the fields of computer science, technical computer science, IT security, administrative or economic information technology or a comparable, relevant field of information technology. At least three years of professional experience in a location centre or a Security Operations Centre (SOC). It is desirable to have relevant experience in the field of production and evaluation of the effectiveness of processes and knowledge management measures. Ideally, you have relevant experience in incident management and reporting structures. You have the ability to conceptualise and ideally have sound knowledge of best practices in process design and documentation.
