As a strategic product manager, you are responsible for the holistic management of our IoT and automation portfolio – from strategic orientation to market launch to successful market management. You are responsible for achieving important key figures, such as sales and sales, as well as the temporal and financial compliance of the product roadmap. You act as a central interface between market, customer, sales, development and management and make a significant contribution to the sustainable growth of our company.

Your tasks:

Strategic portfolio management Planning and control of the product life cycle Evaluation of product ideas incl. Business Cases Creation of sales, sales and earnings analyses via the product portfolio Continuous market and competition analysis and observation of technology trends Conception of value-based pricing models for different sales channels and target industries Support of market launch for new products and services Continuous product and process optimization in coordination with the specialist departments Working with strategic marketing and sales concepts

Successfully completed studies in engineering or industrial engineering Multiannual (8 years+) experience in product management, ideally in the environment of IoT and automation technology Industry Knowledge and Good Network in Engineering, Energy Sector, Infrastructure or Intralogistics Knowledge with Linux-based systems and their use in industrial solutions Embossed understanding of industrial systems and technologies (controls, edge devices, cloud architectures), ideally in dealing with open source solutions Basic understanding of common programming languages and frameworks (such as Python, C/C++, Java, JavaScript) Experience in the development of successful market strategies and in the Product Lifecycle Managment Knowledge in the use of AI and data-driven technologies, e.g. to optimize products or new digital business models Strategic vision paired with pragmatic implementation strength Embossed market and customer understanding as well as entrepreneurial thinking Sovereign communication and persuasive power at all levels Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
