As an IT architect*in with your specialized core skills, you are in the IT architecture team responsible for the design and optimization of the IT infrastructure and system landscape of the Landeshauptstadt Kiel. For this purpose, you will develop IT architectures, concepts and standards for the capital of Kiel in accordance with the IT strategy and digital governance. Take the following tasks: Analysis of existing IT infrastructure and identification of potential for improvement Creation of concepts on the requirements of the architectures for the IT infrastructure and system landscape also with the participation of the departments Planning and implementation of measures to modernise and optimize IT infrastructure and system landscape Control and monitoring of IT projects related to IT architecture Ensuring digital governance, IT security and data protection by defining standards and rules for the use of systems and software solutions Advice and support for the departments and offices

In addition, you need comprehensive knowledge in the fields of integration management, software development, data governance and API management. Furthermore, extensive knowledge of modern architectural approaches, C-I/CD techniques and knowledge of technology and software architectures, cloud infrastructures and the implementation of IT security measures in the environment of IT architecture (according to BSI land protection) are necessary.
