Planning and coordination of road maintenance measures in the context of general road safety (thin layers in cold installation, surface treatments, ruptures, own cover layer measures, external construction measures) incl. Calls for tenders, construction monitoring, financial planning, accounting and production of press releases Implementation of tenders for materials and services (goods, equipment and machinery, asphalt etc.) Coordination of measures under the Telecommunications Act (e.g. broadband extension) with utilities, other specialist services and exporting companies, and licensing Grant of access permits for private pilots in consultation with road controllers (d/m/w) taking into account the construction planning Preparation of comments on special uses, construction planning, construction approval procedures and measures taken by the utilities Checking and coordination of road control (road control book), DA street control, setting control limits Inquiries and writing of citizens and bodies on road law and road safety Initiation of measures in the event of road damage caused by tree root growth with private, third parties and insurance

The formal prerequisite for a successful application is a degree as a bachelor or master of the field of civil engineering or the field of transport engineering. Persons with a completed training as a state-tested technician (d/m/w) in the field of civil engineering as well as road builders (d/m/w) and at least three years of professional experience in civil engineering can also apply, whereby the grouping can only take place in the pay group 10 due to the lack of technical-engineering studies in higher education. In addition, knowledge of the German language at language level C1 (GER) and the possession of the licence of class B are required. Furthermore, the willingness to participate in further training in the field of road maintenance must be established. The training costs are taken over by the city of Celle.
