Research Assistant - PostDoc (m/f/d)

Branch: Humanities Branch: Humanities

Supplier: Chair of Mobile Communications and Computing The Chair of Mobile Communications and Computing (MCC) under the leadership of Prof. Petrova examines systems and methods that enable reliable, seamless and ultra-fast communication. We work on fundamentally new approaches for spectrum access based on dynamic spectrum sharing and co-existence, communication in mmW frequencies and network intelligence. MCC pursues an interdisciplinary approach with a balanced combination of theoretical modeling, algorithmic development, system implementation and experimental validation. MCC is very active in addressing research problems in the field of 6G system design, mm-wave and radar communication, ultra-reliable and low latency connectivity, novel spectrum access and sharing, automated and optimized resource management as well as modular and reconfigurable protocol design for ultra-tight networks. We are looking for a postdocroand/doctoral candidate in one of the following areas: Artificial intelligence for wireless communication Non-terrestrial communications networks (NTN) Semantic communication Wireless localization and tracking Spectrum Management The RWTH is certified as a family-friendly university. RWTH offers a variety of health, counselling and prevention services (e.g. university sports) as part of a university health management. There is a wide range of training and the possibility of obtaining a job ticket for employees and civil servants. .
