The BBK is the head office of the Federal Government for National Crisis Management in Germany. We ensure the quality of crisis management in a central coordination role with federal, international and cross-sector partners. In view of this task, our interdisciplinary team is growing steadily. We are looking for dedicated professionals who want to make Germany more crisis-proof. The K.2 Media Work and Publications Unit is responsible for public tasks and for the information of the population. The activities are responsible and varied. These include the administration of the BBK website, the management of our social media channels, the editorial office of our population protection magazine and the organization of the order service.

Your tasks

▪ Mediengestaltungdigital – You create headers, footers, collages, etc. and optimize them for the different digital communication channels

▪ Image Management and Design – You get images and optimize images and graphics, including for our content management system GSB

▪ Infografik – You translate content into user-friendly, visually appealing and understandable infographics

▪ Address – You accompany the production process of various publications and provide recommendations for the design of different media.

Your profile

▪ They have a completed training with reference to the area of responsibility (e.g. media designer/media designer "design and technology", state-tested designer/ state-tested designer or graphic designer/graphic designer Visual Communication).

▪ They bring knowledge of image processing and video processing and the rights of image use and image processing.

▪ They bring experience in the set and layout of print products.

▪ You can handle the programs of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and ideally provide a selection of your work results together with your application documents. Extensive MS Office applications also do not present challenges.

▪ They have a very good oral and written expressiveness (German C2 according to GER) and can prepare complicated facts in a comprehensible manner. They are always diplomatic and secure against internal and external partners.

▪ They are also characterized by service orientation, team skills, organisational skills, flexibility and communication strength and are happy to take responsibility for your task.

▪ Since our tasks are safety-relevant and event-oriented, we need your willingness to extend the safety review and to participate in the BBK crisis organisation.
