The Family Visit Service of Early Aids in the Mansfeld-Südharz District accompanies families with children in the first years of life and provides early support where they are needed. With an open view for the individual life situations of families, we promote trust, strengthen resources and support parents on their way through the exciting and challenging time with small children.

Our work is based on the strengths of the families. Through personal encounters, looking advice and an esteeming attitude, we help children get a good start into life. Together with regional network partners, we create a low-swelling support offering that opens up family orientation, relief and new perspectives.

Your New Task

• Consultation and accompaniment from parents with children aged 0 to 3 years on topics of early childhood development, education and family life
• Executive family visits throughout the Mansfeld-Südharz county as part of a low-swelling support offer
• Recognition of support needs, development of appropriate assistance and communication to further consulting and support services
• Strengthening of parental education and action skills and promoting the self-effectiveness of families
• Organization and coordination of welcome visit packages and participation in family-oriented actions and projects
• Working with network partners and active participation of early social assistance

Your profile

• Completed educational or medical qualification, for example as education educator (w/m/d), Social education (w/m/d), Inertity education (w/m/d), Health and child caregiver (w/m/d) or with a comparable qualification
• Funded knowledge of early childhood development as well as interest in parental counselling and development
• Scientific knowledge of regional aid systems in the field of child protection and early aid is desirable
• Ideally experience or additional qualifications in the consultancy area or the willingness to further develop accordingly
• Resource and solution-oriented mode of operation as well as pleasure in family support and support
• Class B guidance certificate and willingness to use private cars for looking activities
• Intercultural competence, communication strength and psychological resilience and an open and value-assurance attitude towards families and network partners
• Remarkable is the membership of a Christian church belonging to the working community of Christian Churches (ACK) in Germany
