The LWL-Klinik Hemer, Hans-Prinzhorn-Klinik, is a modern and innovative hospital for psychiatric care with approx. 400 beds and seats. The institution of the clinic is the Westfalen-Lippe landscape association, which provides a comprehensive psychiatric system in Westfalen-Lippe with highly differentiated psychiatric treatment and care services at various locations.

With the LWL-Klinik Dortmund there is a regional network with a common economic and administrative service, also for the LWL-Klinik for Forensische Psychiatrie Dortmund.

Treatment of patients predominantly with affective disorders, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, trauma disorders, ADHD and autism spectrum disorders Psychotherapeutic treatment of patients in our general psychiatric daily clinic, outpatient care and collaboration in a specialized therapy group for young adults Working with the treatment concepts, based on the multiprofessional offerings of the treatment teams, such as medical-psychological and psychological diagnostics, differentiated, supporting pharmacotherapy, therapy of physical accompanying diseases, individual and group psychotherapy offers etc. Planning, implementation and further development of psychotherapeutic and psychoeducative group offers Network work with complementary facilities and outpatients Quality management

completed further education on psychological psychotherapist/psychological psychotherapist or completed studies as psychologist/psychologist (Dipl. or M. Sc.)
