The St. Irmgardis Hospital in Süchteln is a future-oriented acute hospital with the focus on general and visceral surgery, trauma surgery and surgical orthopaedics, conservative orthopaedics with pain therapy, hand, plastic and aesthetic surgery, geriatrics, internal medicine, anaesthesia and intensive medicine. Together with six other hospitals in the Rhineland region (the St. Bernhard Hospital in Kamp-Lintfort, the St. Elisabeth Hospital in Meerbusch-Lank and the VKKD Clinics in Düsseldorf), we are part of the St. Francis Foundation Münster, one of the largest Catholic hospitals in Germany.

The clinic has 171 plan beds with seven specialist departments. With around 390 employees, we treat approximately 6,000 stationary and 22,000 outpatient patients each year.

As part of a measure funded by the MAGS NRW to implement the NRW Hospital Plan of 28.7 million. In the coming years, € will be an extensive expansion building to strengthen the old medical care.
