The Diakonische Werk Hamburg-West Südholstein is an immortal work in the church district Hamburg West/ Südholstein. We operate with around 400 employees in the Hamburger Westen, Pinneberg, Norderstedt and Quickborn 36 institutions in all areas of social work.

With our “Women_Wohnen” service, we help women find affordable living space, secure their living situation in the long term and build new perspectives. We work closely with landlords, authorities and social institutions. The service station is part of our facility. It is centrally located and is easily accessible by foot from the train station. You support women on their way into independent and safe living. Among other things, you take over: Consultancy and accompaniment in the search for suitable and permanently affordable living space Support in all steps around the entrance and rental ratio Detection and dismantling of obstacles that make housing difficult Stabilisation of the housing situation through consultation and transitional management Cooperation with landlords to secure rentals mediation of financial and organizational aids in changing housing Establishment and maintenance of networks with housing companies, authorities and advisory bodies

A completed study of social education, social work, social sciences or a comparable qualification Experience in advising or working with women in stressful situations of life Joy in helping people and finding solutions Safe and estimating occurrence in contact with authorities and landlords Intercultural competence and openness Knowledge of social law is advantageous Self-employed and structured work Organizational and good time management Ideally, you will also bring experience or interest in housing and housing.
