As Head of Department (m/w/d) Mechanical Design you are part of Optima Pharma. In the development and production of intelligent turnkey filling solutions including isolator and freeze dryers, you will work with the pharmaceutical and biotech industry. Future-oriented, sustainable and flexible.

As department manager, you are responsible for the active control of the engineering areas syringes and MultiUse. The active monitoring and control of ongoing projects are part of your daily routine thanks to your expertise and you always keep in mind resources and costs. In the further development of our technologies, you are responsible for standardization and identify recurring weaknesses, for which you will find optimal solutions. You contribute to the creation of a product roadmap, generate innovation together with your department and maintain active exchange with sales and our customers. To understand the measurability of successes, introduce appropriate quality checks and optimize process processes.

You have a successfully completed university degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, engineering or a comparable qualification. Ideally, you bring multi-year leadership experience and pronounced social, conceptual and methodological skills. Multiannual experience in project business as well as profound technical understanding in engineering with knowledge in relevant technologies and industry standards complement your profile. Their ability to identify process improvements and to develop and implement effective solutions for complex technical challenges is what distinguishes them.
