You are responsible for the new customer acquisition as well as the expansion of sea freight company customers and conduct price and contract negotiations

Own-responsible identification of new business opportunities and market potentials based on sound market, trend and competitive analysis

Planning, implementation and follow-up of visits to our sea freight customers

Close coordination with Operations, Customer Service, Pricing and relevant internal stakeholders

You are responsible for the complete processing and coordination of sea freight officers, alerts (RFQs) and tariff requests in cooperation with the respective product teams

Proactive tracking of sea freight offerings to ensure a defined Hit Ratio and targeted increase of GP (Gross Profit) and volume in TEU/CBM

You have successfully completed a commercial training in the field of forwarding/logistics or have a corresponding additional qualification or Education

You bring at least three years of professional experience in the logistics industry sales service

You have sound product, process and market knowledge in the field of sea freight (FCL/LCL, carrier structures, tariffs, trade lanes)

You know the market and competition in your sales area very well

You have proven successes in maritime freight sales, in particular in terms of volume increase (TEU/CBM), GP development and successful implementation of new sea freight customers

You are sure to deal with the current MS Office applications and have experience in working with CRM systems.

You have fluent German and good English skills in word and writing
