For use in an established customer company in the Ochtrup area, we are looking for a locksmith in mechanical engineering (m/w/d). It expects a varied workplace in machinery and plant engineering, where you can bring your craftsmanship daily. Instead of always the same procedures you work on different assemblies, individual parts and machine projects. You will accompany the construction from the first assembly to the finished machine and see what you have created together at the end of the day.

Your duties They work in a variety of ways to manufacture and assemble machinery and technical equipment. These include:

• Assembly of assemblies, machines and complete systems according to technical drawings and assembly plans
• Assembly of mechanical components to functional machines
• machining of metal parts by drilling, grinding, sawing, threading, fitting and straightening
• alignment and screwing of individual assemblies and control of fit accuracy
• Work according to technical drawings, lists and instructions
• Support for the construction of individual special machines and technical installations
• Conducting simple welding, stapling or rework according to your experience
• Testing of mounted components for quality, function and dimensional accuracy
• Exchange with colleagues from design, manufacturing and electrical assembly during machine construction
• Participation in the optimization of assembly processes and manufacturing processes
• Compliance with quality and safety requirements in the work area
• Careful handling of tools, machines and equipment

This will bring you (m/w/d), Metallbauer (m/w/d), Industriemechaniker (m/w/d) or in a comparable metalworking profession

• Alternative multi-year practical experience in mechanical engineering or metal mounting
• Secure reading of technical drawings and lists
• Craft skills and technical understanding
• Experience in handling tools and machines for metal machining
• Ideally first welding skills
• Self-employed, careful and reliable operation
• Team skills and pleasure in varied technical tasks
