Sand and gravel form the foundations of our everyday life. The natural raw materials are used in buildings, sewerage, roads, garden and landscape construction, cultural monuments, glass, ceramics, laptops, smartphones and as natural mineral fertilizers. In the modern works of Rohrdorfer Sand & Kies, the raw materials are lifted, conveyed, cleaned, processed and refined. The degraded areas are then renaturated. There are blue, clear excavator lakes, biotopes with a diverse structure that form new habitats for rare animals and plants, but also agriculturally reusable areas.

Extraction and transport of the raw gravel with excavator, wheel loader, dumper and caterpillar Loading of customer vehicles with wheel loader Operation of the vehicle scale Acceptance of material in filling Support in operation, maintenance and repair of plants Compliance with all safety regulations and requirements

Successfully completed artisanal vocational training, for example as mechanics, agricultural machine technicians or industrial mechanics Experience with construction machines and driving licence class CE desirable Own initiative and commitment Craft skills and interest in technology Teamability and reliability
