IT Service Manager - Automotive (m/f/d)

We work in the midst of the automotive industry – more precisely, in the production environment of a large OEM. This means: structure, pace, technology – and a customer who not only allows innovation, but really wants someone to think, try and actively develop the IT service. As a single point of contact (SPOC) for defined IT and production systems, you coordinate internal and external support teams, solve complex problems autonomously and control incident management including activation, documentation and tracking The production and logistics IT systems in the control center of our OEM customer are managed and supported by you. You work closely with internal IT teams and external partners to ensure high service quality and operational efficiency Critical IT components can be viewed at any time, automated monitoring processes are used and transparent evaluations and decision bases for the customer based on system data and modern reporting AI-assisted tools – such as LLMs – are used specifically to document processes, operation and support knowledge, continuously optimize the knowledge database and use intelligent automation to detect and prevent disturbances at an early stage You carry out a technical team that will enable you to take responsibility – through clear roles, good preparation and space, to drive and shape technical solutions yourself Operational vulnerabilities can be recognized at an early stage, developing innovative service improvements and driving the automation of IT operating processes (scripting, pipelines, AI-based monitoring, ChatOps) consistently – always with a view to productivity and sustainability

A successfully completed study of computer science or a comparable qualification You have relevant experience in IT service/ IT operations management, preferably in a production or logistics environment You are characterized by successful incident management and experience with ITIL processes and frameworks You master ITSM tools (e.g. SmartIT), have a good understanding of infrastructure, cloud services and system monitoring and are familiar with modern communication channels and service desktop operations With your enthusiasm for AI, automation, monitoring and creative, innovative solutions, you can also plug in others and lead a team independently You have excellent communication and strong problem-solving and analysis skills and can work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-layered environment Your profile is rounded off by fluent knowledge of German and English
