We are already building our Department of Internal Medicine I under the direction of the chief physician Dr. med. Ragheb (the focal point of gastroenterology - interventional endoscopy). In 2016, the field of internal medicine with 79 beds was divided into two departments of internal medicine I and internal medicine II, focusing on gastroenterology, oncology and infectiology as well as cardiology and intensive medicine, and is led by two chief physicians in the collegial system. The key of the internal medicine I is currently 1-6-12. Around 3,000 patients are hospitalized every year. In the Department of Internal Medicine I, there are currently 4,000 endoscopy with increasing tendency. All common endoscopic methods as well as the entire gastroentero-logical function diagnosis are established. Dr. Ragheb was a long-standing director of the endoscopy of the EVK Düsseldorf (Head: Prof. Neuhaus). As a result, a focus of the department is interventional endoscopy. In addition to the therapeutic ERCP, modular cholangioscopy and endosonography, the peroral endoscopic myotomie (POEM), complex resection methods such as the endoscopic full-wall resection (eFTR) and endoscopic submucosadissection (ESD) are carried out regularly with high expertise and can thus be learned here. Your duties

· Permanent representative of the chief physician Internal Medicine I · Upper medical station care and station responsibility · Care and clinical care of our patients (w/m/d) in collaborative, interprofessional and disciplined cooperation · Participation in the Confiliar and Background Service · Participation in the training of our assistant physicians · Active participation of the department and introduction of own proposals and ideas

Requirements

· Specialist in Internal Medicine with a focus on gastroenterology or advanced training gastroenterology · Internal Medicine/Gastroenterology and Endoscopy/Sonography · Open, responsible personality with interest in co-designing and further development of the area
