Pedagogical Specialist (m/f/d)

We are one of the most successful initiatives against youth unemployment in Germany. Since 2008 we have been supporting young adults with difficult starting conditions with our three programs PLAN A, JOBLINGE and basecamp on their way to training and profession.

To date, we have accompanied more than 37,000 young people in our programmes. In the JOBLINGE program, 80 percent of the participants, with our support, create a leap into working life – often after years of unemployment and unperspectiveness.

At more than 30 locations across Germany, nearly 300 colleagues work together with more than 2,700 volunteer mentors and over 4,000 partner companies across Germany to open new perspectives for young people. For our partner companies, we are at the same time an important building block for skilled workers.

Then come to JOBLINGE. For our general team at the JOBLINGE gAG Südwest in Stuttgart we are looking for a full-time pedagogical specialist (m/w/d).

What makes your working day off at JOBLINGE?

Your tasks with us: Coordination of the acquisition and inclusion of new participants and information on the JOBLINGE programme in workshops and individual discussions

Accompanying and advising young adults from the programme entry to the application process to the entire JOBLINGE programme period (in group and individual settings)

Support for career orientation, career choice, application and entry into training

Conception, organisation and implementation of workshops, trainings, group reflections and exchanges of experiences

Development, implementation and documentation of individual development and funding plans

Implementation of intervention talks, prevention of training breaks and networking with regional aid and advisory bodies

Advising and supporting vocational schools and training establishments in the event of challenges

Support for social-pedagogical problems that are in the way of successful training

Acquisition, training and support of volunteer mentors and coordination of tandems

Close cooperation with public addressees, including the transfer of the respective group launches and the fulfillment of the contractually agreed tasks on reporting

further development of existing concepts and development of new workshop, training and project ideas

Personality and team fitness are particularly important to us and we are looking forward to getting to know you in the application process.

We require the following qualifications and experiences: A successfully completed study with pedagogical reference or comparable vocational training. At least two years of professional experience in this field. In addition, we are happy to bring you the following: Ideally good knowledge of the German training and labour market as well as experience in working with young people with and without fleeing background. Courage to try out new things, as well as an independent, solution- and result-oriented way of working and enjoying working together in the team. Joy in working with different target groups, strong communication strength and a safe occurrence in dealing with decision-makers. Experience in the care and support of young adults, especially through methods of activation and motivation, as well as enthusiasm for this work. Loadability, organisational skills and experience in conflict and crisis management. Ready to attend events in the evening hours.
